Masonry Welfare Trust

The Masonry Welfare Trust was founded in 1953 to provide health and welfare benefits to members and their families. The Plan is sponsored by a Joint Board of Trustees, made up of equal labor and management Trustees. The Plan currently provides medical, Rx, dental and vision benefits to members and eligible family members. In addition, the Plan also provides to members a short-term disability benefit and life and AD&D benefits.

The Masonry Welfare Trust is a self-insured Plan, which means that the employer contributions paid in on a member’s behalf are the funds used to pay benefits under the Plan. In addition to the self insured Trust Plan, Kaiser is offered as an alternative for medical and dental coverage. Willamette Dental is offered as an alternative for dental coverage. You must live in the service area of the alternative plans to enroll with them.
